Dr Manish Khanolkar is a Specialist Physician in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine working for Auckland DHB (Auckland city hospital and Greenlane clinical centre) and in private rooms at the Mercy specialist centre.
Following his post-graduation in Medicine (MD) from Mumbai (1999), he moved to the UK to work in the NHS for over 10 years. He completed his General Medical training (MRCP-UK, 2002), followed by specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the Welsh deanery (CCT Diabetes & Endocrinology- UK, 2009). Over the course of his specialist training, he completed his MD (Cardiff University, 2009). He remains on the Specialist register of the General Medical Council, UK and is also a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
He moved to Auckland in 2009 where he works as a Specialist Physician with Auckland DHB. Besides his clinical work, he continues his research interests in collaboration with the University of Auckland and the Human Nutrition unit. He is also an active teacher at the medical school.

- Diabetes Mellitus (all types and including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring devices)
- Obesity and its management, Lipid and hypertension management
- Osteoporosis, hypogonadism, polycystic ovaries and its management
- Other Endocrine gland disorders (Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal and Pituitary gland disorders)
